The Spitfire was considered to be the best fighter operated by the Royal Air Force in WWII. The Mark Vb was especially well suited as an interceptor equipped with 20mm cannons and used throughout World War II. This early Mark Vb carried both RAF and USAAF markings.
The new Spitfire MKVb features new markings representing RAF and the early Vb Spitfire in USAAF markings.
