The MIG-21 is a simple, robust aircraft developed to serve as a high-speed heavily armed supersonic fighter interceptor for the Soviet Air Force. The small, economical MIG-21 also proved to be a popular export that was sold to many Soviet allies in the 1960’s and 1970’s. Even today, this small, rugged airplane continues to serve in some national air forces.

This new kit is being released with new markings for Soviet and Warsaw pact allies.
