Designed for pilots who prefer greater coverage and a close fitting frame, its nonpolarized FLT polymer lenses offer 18% visible light transmission (VLT), a versatile medium tint for most daylight flying conditions. Developed by M7 Labs in Santa Cruz, California, FLT lens technology uses advanced notch filtering to enhance contrast, balance colors, and improve the visibility of details in clouds, terrain, and flight instruments. Unlike SKY mineral glass, FLT18 lenses feature a neutral gray base for pilots who prefer a more natural viewing tint. A blue flash mirror finish and anti reflective coating help manage bright sunlight and distracting reflections. The lenses provide full UV protection without polarization, allowing pilots to read electronic flight instruments, GPS units, and iPads without the display interference or distracting aircraft window patterns associated with polarized sunglasses. The lightweight polymer construction provides excellent impact resistance while reducing lens weight compared with mineral glass. Developed for pilots who prioritize lightweight comfort and secure coverage, FLT18 lenses are drop ball tested for impact resistance. The Altitude's hybrid frame combines a flexible TR90 front with ultra thin titanium temples, balancing durability, secure coverage, and aviation headset compatibility. Its base 8 wraparound lens curve provides broad peripheral coverage and a close fitting profile. The lightweight titanium temples fit comfortably beneath aviation headsets and properly fitted flight helmets, helping preserve headset ear seals and noise attenuation while minimizing sound leakage, pinching, and pressure points on long flights. The secure frame design is well suited to active flying and extended time in the air. Developed and tested with pilots, the Altitude FLT18 delivers lightweight durability, clear optics, and aviation specific comfort in a secure wraparound design. Frame measurements: 61-15-130 mm with a base 8 lens curve. Includes a protective hard case and microfiber pouch.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0684/3462/4818/files/Altitude_FLT18_Front-2__20738.1673043173.1280.1280.jpg?v=1792884740
